My first blog

OK so this is my first ever blog. So what do I write about… it seems that it will be my thoughts for the moment. At the moment I’m annoyed. Well I say annoyed but I’m probably just lazy. I need a job for the summer, and all searches so far have come to nothing. I did get an interview with Sainsbury’s for an in-store role as a general assistant, and even though the interview went pretty well they must have wanted someone permanent. Which I thought was a shame, given the job hours were 6-10am in the bakery section. I could have done the quality check on the doughnuts… also cycling 3 miles at 5.30am on a summers day appealed to me. I would get the crisp fresh morning air on my face.

Is this too descriptive for my first blog?

But anyway, that job would have been good. So I waited for 3 weeks to see if they would get back to me, but nothing. In that time I suppose the other jobs must have been snatched up, because now there seems to be nothing available. Anything that is available is completely oversubscribed by people in my position. My position incidently is a student. I’m going to university in a few months, hence the job search so I alleviate some of my debt, although as yet nothing has come.

How long are these blogs meant to be?

I could honestly write a couple of thousand words but would anybody ever read it?

but I’ll save some for another time…
